GREATER SCIOTO VALLEY EMMAUS

The mission of Greater Scioto Valley Emmaus is to provide a deeper understanding of God's love and to equip members to serve as stronger disciples in their home churches.  This is accomplished through 3 day spiritual retreats and regular gatherings of small accountability groups.  Greater Scioto Valley Emmaus is not a church and does not function as an independent entity in the community. We exist to strengthen people, giving them the tools needed to return to their home church with a burning desire to serve others.   

We have been serving the community for over 30 years, providing a space for people to come together and connect with others in the  Greater Scioto Valley in Christian fellowship. Starting with 3 day "Walks to Emmaus" held at Trinity UMC in the late 1990s, our founders believed in the transformative power of faith, and we continue to hold that belief close to our hearts.  In 2024, we moved to Koinonia Farms camp located in the beautiful Hocking Hills to offer a new dimension and experience, with a feeling of being closer to God in his creation.
